This week I spent a lot of time trying to choose a still life that I both had the correct materials for and that I could have fun recreating. I tried a few, but ultimately thought I had the most success recreating this one.

ReplyDeleteVery nice recreate of the subject matter. The angle in the original appears to be a little more at eye level with the cup. I find my eye traveling to the middle area of the books. The image is sharp and the color is great. Very nice work.

Hello Casey, I think this is an amazing recreation. I love the imagery and I sense that the richness of the books is well repeated in your image. They are lush and the lighting appears the same. The teacup seems like it could get more light; in starting the homework this week I feel that maybe the selective filter could be helpful. I absolutely love this work!
